Ahtopol

Seven kilometers south of Sinemorets is Ahtopol, the southernmost town on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The ancient Greeks called it Agathopolis, which means “city of happiness”. Today, Ahtopol is recognized as the most ecologically clean town in Europe. Visitors are mostly middle-aged people looking for solitude and peace. Here you can spend a romantic vacation and fully enjoy the sandy beach, pristine nature and relatively clean sea water, although the town is affected by new constructions located along the coastal street “Kraymorska”. The silence and tranquility of the small hotels and restaurants will make you recover from the accumulated stress, and the pastry shops, bistros and fast food outlets will provide you with delicious food at a reasonable price. The beach offers attractions such as water bikes, banana, boat rides, umbrellas. The bungalows are especially suitable for summer school camps.
